Attorney Irech M. Colon Morales was born in Puerto Rico where she lived there for three years until moving to Orlando, Florida with her mother and father. She lived most of her life in Orange County, Orlando with her mother who is an elementary school teacher and her father who is a home lending advisor. Irech's biggest passions growing up were playing volleyball, taking after her father who coached her for many years, and reading a good fictional book. She also has a brother about 6 years younger. Being an athlete and an older sibling has helped Irech develop a disciplined mind set and leadership skills.
Irech left the nest in 2013 to Miami, Florida where she attended Florida International University. She graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Public Relations and Communications and a Minor in Psychology in 2017. While at FIU, Irech participated with the school
newspaper writing new stories as well as took a role as the Director of Communications for the Student Alumni Association. Irech also took the role of working as a Resident Assistant at the dorms at FIU creating a positive community amongst her peers and residents.
In 2016, Irech commenced her first legal job at a law firm as a legal intern and thereafter continued to work as a legal assistant and office manager for the next four years for three attorneys, specializing in various fields including personal injury, foreclosure defense, evictions, condominium law and wills and estates. During that time, Irech began law school at St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida. In her third year of law school, Irech decided to endeavor into family law and joined Segarra & Associates as a law clerk where she was mentored by Manny Segarra and instantly grew a passion for matrimonial and family law. Irech was a cum laude graduate and became a member of the Florida Bar in 2021. Thereafter, she continued at Segarra & Associates as an Associate Attorney. Irech is compassionate in assisting families and children cope and thrives to obtain successful results for clients undergoing emotional moments in their lives. She takes pride in maintaining communication and incorporating the client's goals and feedback in every step of a case.
